Here are the sessions on How to Study the Bible.  The First covers why we must study the Bible and study it rightly.  The Second begins the discussion on how to study and the mechanics involved in Observation and Interpretation.  The Third covers how to go about applying the Bible after you have observed and interpreted your passage and the Fourth and final session (which I split off of the 3rd recording) covers translations and which one might be the best for you.  Enjoy and Happy Studying!            Download

Session #1 Why Why is it so important to study the Bible correctly?  How should we come to the Scriptures when we study?  Is it really important to put the hard work in?  Common questions when faced with how to correctly study the Scriptures.  Find answers to some of the hard questions in part one of three of our Bible Study series on how to study the Bible in depth.

Session#2 -How to Study the Bible – How?  Mechanics of proper Bible interpretation. Does it sound difficult?  You may be surprised how doable it is, even though it takes a bit of work. I truly believe anyone can study their Bible well with the proper tools -whoever they are & whatever phase of life they are in.

Session 3 – How – Application – This week, we wrap up the 3 core elements of Bible study with how to apply the text correctly.  We are told to not only be hearers of the Word, but doers also.  This is perhaps the most important and most abused area of Bible study  Remember, this comes only after Observing and rightly Interpreting the text.

Session 4 – Translations – Ever wonder why there are so many Bible translations in English? Today we look at how to choose a translation, why there are so many and why we can have confidence in the reliability of our Bible.
