After high school, Isaac attended Frontier School of the Bible in Wyoming and then applied to Village Missions. Shortly afterward, Isaac and Bethany started dating. After they married, they finished the application process together and were accepted by Village Missions.

Isaac and Bethany were very blessed by a 14-month ministry internship with Rob and Linda Dore in Yale, WA. In 2013 Isaac started serving as the pastor at Open Door Church in Cedarcreek, MO. The Pederson family had many wonderful experiences with the people in Cedarcreek.

In 2024 they moved to Michigan to serve in Bruce Crossing.
